This tour starts at the boat ramp on the Southeast side of Mercer Lake.  This is a Lane County Park.  There is a $4 fee to park here.  It is located off of Mercer Lake Road which is just North of Florence.

10:30  Meet @ Mercer Lake County Park off Mercer Lake Road just North of Florence, OR

10:30 to 11:30 Orientation, Instruction & Outfitting

11:00 to 12:00 Paddle along the lakeshore learning some skills

12:00 to 1:00 Lunch and talk about local natural history

1:00 to 2:30 Paddling further and optional fun rescue practice. Get Wet!
