Fall Creek Reservoir – May 23rd

$60.00Meet at Lakeside on Fall Creek. A small fee for parking is needed at this State Park access. Located about 40 minutes away from the Eugene/Springfield area on Big Fall Creek Road.
Paddling here is really nice along the forested shoreline. This area is typical of the Southern Willamette Valley. Fall Creek is a crystal clear stream and descends it way to the Reservoir on which we paddle.
The Fall Creek National Recreation Trail is just a bit farther uphill and offers over 13 miles of access!
There are a couple of covered bridges in the nearby area, Unity and Pengra.
10:30 to 11:30 – Orientation, Instruction & Outfitting.
11:00 to 12:00 – Paddle along the lovely lake while learning some skills.
12:00 to 1:00 – Lunch and talk about local natural history.
1:00 to 2:30 – Paddling further and optional skills practice.
